LICENSE BUNDLES

License bundles can be used to group licenses from different products together and thus facilitate the distribution of license keys. Instead of sending one license key per product, you can group these keys in one bundle key.

Bundles is an optional functionality, that only pertains to scenarios with multiple products.

CREATING A BUNDLE

A bundle is always assigned to a specific customer. A bundle has a unique bundle key, that can be used for product activation, exactly as a regular license key.

ASSIGNING LICENSES TO A BUNDLE

• Since a bundle is assigned to a specific customer, you can only assign licenses of this customer to the bundle.
• Only one license per product can be assigned to a product. This ensures that no product ambiguity can arise during activation using a bundle key.

CLIENT/API CONSIDERATIONS

It is important to understand that the bundle key is relevant only product/license activation. A successful activation returns the actual license key, which can be used for all subsequent API calls.
