Licensing as a Service

Licensing-as-a-Service (LaaS) is a term used for modern (second generation) licensing solutions that are based on web APIs. Typically, such services allow software vendors to implement all kinds of software licensing models including floating, perpetual, named for devices and/or users, regardless of the application type (web/SaaS/Mobile/Desktop).
